AtlaZ Research Grant

Learn more about your cells, in real time.

What if you could follow your cells as they respond to external factors, and see even the kinetics of the response? Without labels, without complicated workflows.

Many cellular responses are dynamic. But often, we only capture a single snapshot of the cellular response.

With AtlaZ, you can monitor cellular behavior in real time and gain deeper insight into how cells respond to compounds, stimuli or environmental changes.

The AtlaZ Research Grant gives researchers the opportunity to bring AtlaZ into their own lab for 6 months, including training, consumables, and expert application support, completely free of charge.

Why should you apply?

What will you do?

Do you have a cell-based research question where real-time data could make a difference?

The 2026 AtlaZ Research Grant is open to researchers working with cellular models who want to better understand how their cells respond, transform, and behave over time.

Whether you are studying cell health, compound effects, cytotoxicity, barrier function, morphology-related changes, or assay development, AtlaZ can help you generate meaningful, real-time insights directly from your cells.

With its compact design and approachable workflow, AtlaZ gives research teams a practical way to add real-time cell monitoring to their lab without unnecessary complexity.

Application deadline: December 20, 2026

“My experience with Nanion´s technology was great, achieving highly reproducible data with the AtlaZ platform from day 1 was convincing for me.” Prof. Dr. Percy Knolle
Technical University of Munich
Munich, Germany
“Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy will become just as relevant for adherent cells as flow cytometry is relevant for cells in suspension. The methodology promises a huge potential for future scientific discoveries.“ Prof. Dr. Joachim Wegener
University of Regensburg
Regensburg, Germany
“The AtlaZ has a clean user interface with a cool design. The system allows for a robust and consistent data generation and analysis and there is no fear to miss out on any relevant data.” Michael Dudek, Ph.D.
Technical University of Munich
Munich, Germany
“Due to the ease of use of the AtlaZ system, there was no support needed. After a brief introduction to the measurement software, we could start the experiments right away. Still, Nanion team was very supportive during the analysis and assessment of the recorded data.” Dr. Matthias Gossmann
CEO, innoVitro GmbH
Jülich, Germany
