Göttingen Channels Symposium 2026
We’re excited to attend the Göttingen Channels Symposium 2026, organized by the German Cardiac Society Working Group on Cellular Electrophysiology (AG18), and connect with the ion channel research community.
This year’s symposium focuses specifically on cardiac ion channels, bringing together a broad spectrum of research—from fundamental biophysics to translational and clinical applications in cardiovascular disease.
A highlight of the meeting is the keynote lecture by Nobel Laureate Prof. Dr. Erwin Neher, recognized for pioneering the patch-clamp technique and enabling the direct measurement of single ion channel activity.
When? May 7-8, 2026
Where? Göttingen, Germany

Meet the Nanion team
Our Scientific Sales representative, Will Seibertz, will be on site representing Nanion Technologies.
If you’re working on cardiac ion channels or electrophysiology, this is a great opportunity to discuss how our technologies support research, from basic science to translational studies.
Come talk to Will about how:
- Automated patch clamp enables high-throughput functional characterization of cardiac ion channels
- Electrophysiology platforms support translational and safety pharmacology studies
- Scalable solutions help bridge early discovery and clinical research
